Ornamental trees & shrubs
Ornamental trees and shrubs are an important part of any home landscape. In fact, they make up the largest investment in most landscapes, yet many people ignore caring for them until it's too late.

Nutri-Green offers a complete program to keep your ornamental woody plants in top shape throughout the year.
Late Winter and Early Spring |
We apply a special Horticultural Oil to your ornamental trees and shrubs from insect damage. Many harmful insects actually burrow into the bark of many ornamental trees and over-winter in this protected environment. In the spring, they continue on their path of destruction among your ornamentals. Our Horticultural Oil removes these pests before they can do further damage. |
Spring |
We apply a special Granular Fertilizer around your ornamental trees and shrubs to insure they have the proper nutrients for good root and leaf development after coming out of their winter-long dormancy. |
Late Spring |
We thoroughly inspect and treat for any harmful insects that could cause damage to your valuable landscape plants. We also inspect for any disease infestations that may be a problem. After inspecting these plants if any pests or diseases are present, we will treat for them. |
Early Summer |
We once again inspect your ornamental plants for any signs of insect or disease problems before they can pose serious threats to your landscape investment. |
Summer |
This is an important inspection for your ornamental plants. It is at this time that insects are looking to find somewhere to hang out for the winter. |
Fall |
This final inspection for insects also includes a final Granular Fertilizer application that will help your ornamentals store up enough energy for the winter. |
